You can do that, but the factory or dealership parts are arm and a leg. The best is to go to a close junkyard if they have them, look over e-bay and some other internet sites that do alot with the honda/acura parts they usually have that. Im not sure if you are just asking about the rear disc 4 lug or the 5 lug conversion. If you are doing the 4 lug you need the acura integra rear disc or the civic si rear disc assembly, proportional valve the and the master cylinder from the si or the integra. While you are there you could change your rotors and the pads. With this said there is alot of information if you search which has step-by-step procedure.

Also, just do this if you want the looks of rear disc, because you won't notice anything performance-wise.

yeah just 4 lug not 5 lug. I might upgrade the pads and rotors. and put some spoon calipers on. .. Good info tho. Thanks a lot.

Don't know why you'd go all out with Spoon calipers and all kind of fancy stuff in the rear, put it into the front where it might actually do something to improve your braking.

upgrade pads and rotors in back...
spoon calipers in front, with upgrades rotors and pads...
correction. sorry for the misunderstanding.

The spoon calipers are around 1100-1300 for a pair or for a single caliper?

Man, that is so expensive. I would go with Wilwood, they've been in the biz for decades and cost half that. Here's one right now for still a cheap deal but they are still around $600 from a shop on Ebay.

The going price I've seen online is around $1500 for the set, for use with ITR stock rotors only.

okay after reading that loong post which helped a lot I basically got this out of it. In order to install rear disk brakes on my 97 hatch Ill need:

1.99-00 si trailing arm assembly.
2.99-00 si rear brake lines.
3. 99-00 si e-brake lines.
4. 99-00 si master cyclinder.
5.99-00 si proportioning valve.

**I want to upgrade the rotors and pads while im in the back. **Will the rotora rotors fit on this install? If i buy these rotora rotors what dont I need to buy from above? or do i still need to buy all?
**I also want to upgrade the brake lines to steal braided or some sort like that. If i buy the aftermarket brake lines then I wont need the 99-00 civic si rear brake lines correct?

I know I have a lot of questions, sorry bout that but if anyone can answer my questions or can add to what else i might need in this swap, Itd really help me out. Also anything I dont need that i mentioned would help too=less money i need to spend. Thanksss
