Default how to remove roof drip rails from hatchback??

I'm sitting here looking at my 93 hatch and trying to figure out how to get the roofline driprails out of it for painting. Do they snap in and I have to take the roofliner out to properly press out the snaps so I dont bend the rails all up or something??

i believe you have to kinda slide it back and lift or forward and lift but they should pop off no problems.

pop the hatch, slip a long flat balde screwdriver under the peice and lift gently till you hear it let go.
