Anyone know of a company that will start to make or does make a carbon fiber trunk for the generation 2 4 door integras? I have looked on google, craigslist, ebay, and here and haven't had any luck. Please let me know. Thanks.

Please don't comment about what color my car is or give me an opinion of what you think of carbon fiber...

i have a db1 2 and i also have search for one.the only thing that i can think its close to one is a carfon fiber vinyl looking thing that i saw at pep boys.since i couln't find one ill probably and up doing that vinyl thing.check out my car at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B8Y6JUrAG4

 

Damn it is a sleeper lol. Yea I have looked and looked and nothing...I doubt they make 'em...don't know why though..Anyways, I was thinking about that vinyl too...wonder how it will hold up with the weather though...

 

it should hold up for a while,but even if its starts to go bad you can always go buy more.

 

True...The vinyl you saw...was it real carbon fiber or that carbon fiber look? Like carbon faux...

Ebay sells real carbon fiber vinyl rolls...I'm looking now...

 

it look pretty real to me,you could spray some clear coat on it foe better results

 

I cant remember rite now what website i seen it but i have seen one and it cost as much as the hood which would make sense, I wanted to buy one rite before mine got totalled

 

that vinyl its like 15 bucks

 

ive been trying to look to cant find **** for the db1's ive also been trying to find the back seat and all they have is 2 door rear seats

So any luck on remembering that website with the CF db1 trunks?

honestly i looked but i cant find it, i been working so much i cant remember three days ago ahaha. umm but i will try and find it again, i want to see that one some ones ride on here, i miss my DB1

 

whatever you do, don't use vinyl

 

Just an update for you db1 owners that wanna know about the trunk...

Talked to VIS (know someone here locally that is a dealer for VIS) and they can custom make one, but they need a donor trunk to use the skeleton to lay the carbon fiber on. Also they didn't give me a price yet, so that's what I'm waiting on. I'll keep everyone posted what I find out.

DB1 Carbon Fiber Trunks

 

You need to find out what year trunk lid you want rookie! 90-91 is different than 92-93 so you need to find out more info. THERE IS NO 90-93 SEDAN TRUNK LID!!!
