Order a JDM Engine?

Order a JDM Engine?
Does anyone recommend ordering JDM honda engines from those japanese warehouses, because people have said most of the motors they sell are not as good as they claim them to be. I personally was thinking of buying from one of them but i just needed some ideas from those with knowledge at honda-tech. i mean buying a motor is a big investment so i just need some pointers. thanks.

you live in chicago. look up erics motors of japan. amazing good prices local real nice good warrenty and very knowledgeable. My friends shop has used them many of times and i just bought my trans there good ****

I bought from someone that had an online store in FL. Turns out he was the middle man and the engine I got came from a japanese warehouse in Canada. Came clean but needed a new clutch and had a blown headgasket not to mention I ordered an OBD2 and was sent an OBD1. Didn't come with the ECU or shift linkage I paid extra for and the axles leaked. Turned into a 4 month hassle with my bank and his bank but in the end I got the extra money I paid for the extra parts back and got the motor running pretty strong.
Point is, its better to buy in person because you never know what a company will send you and once its shipped tracking someone down clear across the country to make it right is a pain in the ***.

I could never get a returned phone call from Hmotorsonline but I have read good reviews from them. Pricey but worth it to beat the hassle I had.

word i just installed my b18c i got from them, started it up last night and no cells at all.
they forgot a bracket with the motor so they shipped it out priority mail to me.
and they gave good tech support over the phone too
and as for the price i found it to be average compared to many sites.
