Weird Noise, Need suggestions
Ok, I have a 97 Integra RS coupe. Stock Suspension with 205/40/17's for rubber.
Now the question. A couple weeks ago I ripped the sidewall in my rear passenger side tire. I replaced the tire with a brand new tire so now my tread on the back is uneven
.
Recently when I turn right a noise( I think its coming from the rear left wheel) that resembles nails on a chalkboard starts being noticeable. When I hit my brakes it gets worse. Now it sometimes happens on straightaways or when I hit the bumps in the center divide.
I need your opinion first off is this a result of having uneven tread on the rear tires. If not what could this be, and what should I do. Tomorrow after work I'm going to jack the car up and see if I find anything. Just want some opinions if anyone has had this happen or has heard of this. Thanks for the help.
