Default rear anti-sway bar on my '88 hatch-->question

i've got an '88 Standard hatch. yesterday, i got a rear sway bar off of an '89-91 crx. the brackets that hold the sway bar up line up to the holes on my frame, however, the holes in the frame don't have any welded nuts on the inside like the crx did. also, since i have different lower control arms than the crx that it came off of, will the sway bar bolt onto my lca's? held it up, and everything seems like it will fit alright, i'll just have to weld the brackets to the frame. does anyone have any thought on this, or does anyone have any pics of a swaybar on an '88 hatch and the mounting points? thanks for any help!

i've been told - but haven't confirmed myself - that if you remove the rear bumper, the back side of those holes is acessible. you get some nuts to fit the bolts & screw on the sway bar that way...

i'll be checking this out firsthand myself next week, so i'll be very interested if you're able to do this...

oh yeah, you also need the lca's off a crx si... i don't know if your suspension on an 88 hatch has different lca's than the crx other than the sway bar mounts... maybe someone else here knows that one.

The LCAs are different. Find a 88 Si and look at how they mount to it. Maybe you can ghetto rig something. Otherwise you will need to swap LCAs for ones w/ sway bar mounts.
