Default How significant is removing cruise control?

There's no purposeful reason as far as performance/weight right?

the only reason i'd remove it is for space... i no longer have any space for anything so that's the next thing to go...

Can anyone give me step-by-step infos on how to remove my cruise control in a 96 civic? Mine doesn't work anymore so I just want the extra space.

CC weighs nil. keep it. only benefit would be from full race setups where getting to the engine quickly is a necessity. if you are in a kick to remove stuff, take the girl out of the passenger seat....

so nobody got tips on how to remove this thing? There's a tube that looks like it connects to the intake manifold. What do I do with that? Just take it out?

I'll restate it. Get a factory service manual. If you do anything yourself more than change your oil it is really helpful.
