1995 accord door assembly
Ok I need to figure out how to take apart the door in my accord. I tried googlehacking some pdf's on the assembly (ie chilton or hanes manuals) but had no luck (filetype:pdf + "honda accord door" and every variation hehe). I've taken apart a few parts on friends car's before (bumpers etc) but I always had a book and without it there are always those stupid hidden tricks to get everything off *smoothly* without having to brute force it. What happened is my door handle on the outside won't open the door and when I roll down the window it pops the door open. Leading me to beleive that the mechanism that opens the door from the outside door handle is being hit by the window rolling down. It's buggin me cuz I have to open the driver door from the passenger side! lol it's embarassing and annoying when it's raining.
Any links to pdf's/tutorials on accord door assembly (bolt/screw sizes/locations) would be appreciated.
Thanks =D

I took apart my 96 accord passenger door two weeks ago. It's pretty straightforward. In fact, it's very similar to the 7th gen instructions posted in the Accord FAQ thread stickied at the top.
Basically, locate the screw covers (easy to find, not hidden at all) and pry them off with a flathead. Undo the screws with a Phillips. Pry the door away from the frame. There were about 8 clips on mine. Locate the power accessories and unclip the harnesses and slide them through the holes to get the door off.
Hope that helps.
edit: I have a service manual at home. If you need, I can try to send you the pdf for this project if you still need it (and if it exists in my manual).

cool thanks im in class right now but im gonna try tomorrow (waiting on paycheck to buy tools, no tools anymore lol). What tools will be required? Do I need any sockets? or just screwdriver will do...
I didn't use any sockets. Just two screwdrivers. And a towel to put over the screwdriver so when I pried I didn't scratch the interior anywhere. Then again, the door I took apart was the passenger, which is a little different and a little easier than the driver's side. That side MAY require a socket, but I doubt it.
I hear ya on the paycheck scenario. I don't get paid til NEXT friday, and I'll be buying a new muffler then.
