what do they mean by stage cams?(i.e. stage 1,2,3 )i mean, what lift and duration specs differ those stages? this always puzzled me. also, when a cam manufacturer gives their lift and duration, they only have one number. is this number referring to the vtec lobe? or the regular one. i have searched here on ht and on Google and they don't really explain much to me. i also been in their websites and they don't explain much. .i know how about duration and lift affect an engine and understand the numbers and theory. I'm trying to build my h22 for top end and a decent low, i have a chipped p13 ready for tuning and i would like to get a cam to increase power in the top end.
every time i searched i kept on seeing the Skunk2 Pro Series Stage 2 cam being popular for the h22.
