Help!! 92-95 Civic D16 Ecu..??

Default Help!! 92-95 Civic D16 Ecu..??

i was looking on ebay cause i need a D16 ecu and i found an auction for an ecu for about $40 shipped it doesnt give any part numbers but it says it works with the civic Si 92-95

also i read another auction where they said an auto ecu was no different from a 5spd one so now im confused lol

can u guys lend a hand and help me figure this out thanks!

i beleive auto and manual are different but im not good with computers.

lol thats where im at to...i just got into hondas 6 months ago to and swapped in an Si motor in my coupe now i wanna do one in my hatch and i can get the motor, the motor, harness but i wont get the computer with it so i have to find one some where....

yes manual and auto are different......common sense. youll get a CEL light if you run the auto one.

wat kind of D do you have? d16z6? d16y5?

be nice to know what ecu that is

i believe you need a p06, dont get a p05 cuz its 1.5 and redlines at 6k

Yes you definately need a P28. Usually when you get a 5 speed P28 the last three digits in the ECU code are 37820-P28-A02. Also whoever said the auto and manual ECU's are different was right. There are different spaces on the motherboard of the ECU that are on the auto, but not on the manual. These spaces control the shift points of the auto tranny whereas the manual obviously wouldn't have this. I would recommend looking at another auction. I just got mine on there for $115 shipped and that was cheap. But my engine is a D15B VTEC (which is basically a destroked D16Z6). Check into it. Just my 2 cents.
