a few days ago while I was removing my caytalitic converter I noticed another exhaust component that looked some what like a glass pack and had SANKEI etched on it. I have no real idea of what it does (but my guess would be just more emissions crap) my question is. how restrictive is this thing because I have a boosted ls running on 12lbs of boost that made 213 whp on a superflow dyno. I guess what im really asking is should I just remove this sankei thing and weld a test pipe in its place or do I need a larger diameter exhasut to help whith exhaust flow.

 

thats a resonator leave it it doesnt create restriction it just makes it quieter

 

Bump from the dead...but not one to make new threads...and its relevant...

Either way...was looking at picking this exhaust up from my 93 Integra...price is fair and all seems in order...

Really just curious if 1) This isn't the correct exhaust and 2) if anyone else is running one...
