You have the b16, just build that. Unless you're looking to make some big numbers and want bragging rights (which are always fun to have), then you might consider the B18.

what would be the cheapest. i also want to stay under the radar. i dont want to risk gettin pulled over and gettin my car towed for the swap. im not into street racing anymore and want a daily driver thats still pretty quick.

Well, Ive never seen anyone get pulled over for an engine swap. if you don't want to get pulled over, just drive with some sense. And the B16 would be cheaper for you, obviously, 'cuz you already have it.

or you could just get a b18 block and build a ls/v, you already got everything you need except for the b18 block.

the ls vtec always sounds good. i know when i first got into cars that was one of my goals to do. but now i know there are too many risks to do and takes alot of money. also you never know what kind of power your goin to put out. but im glad someone is on the ls b16 tranny side.

since you already have the B16, simply built it. New bottom and low end and have fun.

ya your right. i dont axactly have an xsi. i have a usdm b16 and black housing one piece projector headlights. eventually i will have one. thats my main goal with my teg. the reason i say its risky for the ls vtec is because you might not get enough oil going in when you tap the oil lines. and i dont have the money to play around with it if it goes wrong. but thats just me. as for building the b16, i did a research paper on street racing and found an article of someone getting there car smashed cuz of a swap
