Okay, well then you'll just have to get the OEM hoodlatch, stick it on with 3M, and hope for the best I guess.
Dude, I think you're going to need to do it right and get it drilled.
I know you don't want to drill, but what's the point if it's not going to be on the car safely?
Some pins would be recommended for safety.

Take it to your local shop and ask them what to do. I think that'd be the solution you're looking for.
Hood pins are for safety, not looks.....unless you're a ricer and you've drilled your OEM hood just to pin it. Even if you do get a latch installed, you should just consider some non-descript pins for the safety.

better safe than sorry, even if you get a hood latch and get it on there, what if it breaks? you might have to replace your windshield. go with the pins your wallet will thank you in the future when your going fast.

Hood damper kits usually come with a disclaimer, saying that they are not recommended for cars with carbon fiber hoods because damage is a possibility.
Plus, you're still left with your initial problem, as hood dampers do not lock the hood down, or hold it down in any way.

Nah, they don't. They're just an alternative to the hood prop, for convenience and looks.
So, back to the latch/pins solution. I really don't know what else to tell you now, besides this:
Get both. Be safe. Good luck.
