Just ground the neg. probe on your multimeter, and put the pos. probe on one of them. Then push the brake pedal and see if it lights up. If not, try the other one. Please tell me you are testing the wires and not just splicing whatever it says on the diagrams? I know on my 90 LX Sedan, almost all of the ignition harness wires were different then what the diagrams told me.

PS. If the car is stick, you better not use an automatic remote starter...get the Compustar one for 5speeds, I have it and it works great.
