What is up with my suspension/front end?
So more and more lately when I go over bumps it sounds and feels like everything is falling apart on the front suspension of my '94 Civic. It's been getting gradually worse for quite some time now and I can't really tell what the issue is. I have KYB shocks that I installed maybe 40k miles ago so I think they should still have life left in them right? I'm still on the original stock springs. New upper control arms due to worn out bushings about 5k miles ago. New lower ball joints about 10k miles ago. New axles about 10k miles ago. I'm thinking it might be something with the steering system or perhaps worn out springs. Any ideas?
Oh I also had an aligment done about 5k miles ago but I feel like the car is wandering a bit on the highway and it also seems to pull a bit to one side or the other on acceleration.

sounds like it's time for some new bushings. not just in the upper a arm but all over.
new tie rods and shocks wouldn't hurt either.

IMO tie rod end
Just had the DD (91 DA) checked by our mechanic, he told me the right outer was bad.
You could hear a knock as the car tuned into the driveway.
Take it some where and have a pro tell you what's wrong. You can replace the part and then him align it.
I R&R'ed the Rt outer tie rod end in less than 30 minutes.
Had the same noise in a couple of Honda's and it was the same fix, one of the tie rod ends.
Parts are about $30.00, retail for $60.00.

Again to many possibility's take it to a pro and have it checked. For a few bucks they will tell you whats wrong. We can all guess from our chairs. Spend a few bucks and fix it once.
I just went through 4 axles before I got a good one that won't make the car feel like it was falling apart. The 3rd axle even broke after about 15 miles.

Yeah there's a pretty good shop just up the street from me and I'm planning on having them take a look this weekend. I'm just trying to figure it out in the meatime because it's been frustrating me.
What all bushings are there that should be replaced in the front? Do-able myself or will I need a shop to press old ones out and such?
I've been thinking lately that it's tie rod ends but wouldn't the steering wander be pretty severe if that were the case?
