I did a search on the Phantom Grip but I didnt come up with any hits so here it is. I'm looking for some info on the phantom grip. I've heard some good and bad things about the Phantom Grip but <U>I want to hear from experience</U>. The application is for my 89 crx si tranny that's going to be used for road courses. The tranny wont ever see 200whp (probably more like 160whp). Do you guys think its worth the $270?

Its not worth the 280 when you can get a OBX complete diff for 400. If you really want a cheap diff.. get a JDM LSD . Thats more then enought for 300 WHP and lower.

 

^^^^^ I completey agree. I do have to fess up though. I have one in my accord tranny right now and it was in another accord that I had that was turboed and have never had any problems with it. I got the uppgraded spring kit and all has been good for about 2 years now. This is also in my daily driver.

doesnt the stock honda lsd help more for concerning than launching because of the lsd type? where as the obx unit is a gear type where the type r units have internal clutches?
