Default h22 in 97 integra..which yr prelude shift linkage.

i bought a 97 integra with a h22 swap and i think the shift linkgae is gone because it want go into gear but i dont know what year shift linkage i need to get. any help would be great. thanks

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm...H22a 's do not have linkages, unless you found one with an H2B swap. They are cable operated trannies

yea its the cables. didnt know there was a difference..i know they have the cables and the bar but i thought it was referred to as the shift linkage. but anyway what yr. does anyone know

You can use cables from any 92-01 Prelude or 90-?? Accord! The 90-93 accords are a little shorter though but will work fine. (just not sure how long they would last)

the newer Preludes use a plastic shifter, do you have a metal one? I'm pretty sure any older accord or prelude will work fine if you have a metal one. Also, refer to the hybrid forum with these kinda questions for a quicker answer.
