Default LSD question

I am thinking about turboing My D series and i am wondering if they have LSD for the d series tranny's and if they do does anyone know a good site to get any.

Yes, the OBX offering seems to be quite popular among the D-series folks.

Yes it is also very popular, and recommended, to disassemble and field strip it via the write up to make sure the OBX LSD is in good order. After the simple disassembly, it's popular opinion that it's definitely worth the money you save by getting one.

Here's the thread for future reference. You'll probably want to go with the OBX anyway, as it's the best bang for your buck, as far as I've heard. Enjoy.

thanks for all the answers guys, but i did some research and do you think it is even worth it to add to a D series that i hope to get only like 230 whp from, also do i have to alter the case on my tranny for this just some more questions lingering in the back of my mind, thanks again

I have the OEM LSD in my D series, and intend to go turbo in the near future. For now, I just have a near stock N/A D15B, and I like what it does to stabilize the car during "spirited driving." I enjoy what I get out of it, and it's not even as aggressive of an LSD as the OBX I hear.

I like my LSD so much that the next project I embark on is going to have one, first thing. I never want to go back to the one-wheel-peel.
