hey ht....i got a b16 swao in my 92 4dr...i had got my car tuned about 2 months ago with chorme...the guy set my idle at 1000 and now my car is idling at 1500...and i hear a knocking nosie.when i press the clutch the knocking nosie stops and when the car is in gear and i press the clutch half way the knocking nosie stops and idle is normal....thanks for any help

 

the knocking sound your hearing is your throw out bearing in your clutch i had the same problem but then i put a new clutch and bearings in and it was fine.that should fix the problem... so thats what ya gotta do -_- it sux i know.

 

Mine does the exact same thing... Would love to know how to fix it.

You can just replace the TO bearing.
