Default Design Review. Please give me your input!!

Here is the latest version of my brace.

I have some decisions to make about the design. The one I am strugelling on the most is just studding the swaybar mount holes, and mounting the swaybar directly to the brace, and eliminating the subframe. Or including the subframe in the swaybar mount.

Here is the question. To bolt the swaybar directly to the Brace, or sandwich the subframe, by bolting the swaybar to a bracket on the backside.

Pro's of no rear bracket:
Easy installation.
Less parts to produce.
Holes could posibly be studed for sway bar mounting.
Eliminates any contact of swaybar with rear-subframe.

Pros of rear bracket:
Stronger mount.
?

Let me know your input!

its right for an EG,

it would "upside down" if it was for an EK

I would go with mounting it by sandwiching the sub frame. i think you run a greater risk of flex of the aluminium if only mounted at 2 points.

As is, you're only bolted to the LCA mounts. That allows the plate to flex and only braces the subframe a little bit. Two points of contact.

If you drill through the plate and use longer bolts for the sway bar, the subframe is braced, the plate has even less chance of flexing, and you have a much sturdier structure in general.

You get a big chunk of aluminum and have it CNC machined and milled and DIY for less than what ASR charges.

Seems to me bolting it to the brace would be the best route. Good looking piece though
