Default Intake Manifold

B18C motor with the stock intake manifold with an Iceman Cold Air Intake. I was wonderin' if i were to get the Skunk2 manifold...would my cold air piping still work or would i need to customize/replace my intake piping??

For a Skunk2, blox, aeb, type r style IM, the throttle body will be higher than the stock IM, so your intake pipe will be really close to the hood, my AEM V2 intake actually hits my hood when i close it. I think a type r or an LS intake fits better if you do the skunk2 im swap. What else are you doing to the car, cams, TB, header, etc?

Just Some Advise:
If you do get the Blox IM. while your at it get their throttle body. it has the mounts so you dont have to spend more money on buying a throttle cable from an LS.
They have different throttle bore's you can choose from. I went with the 70mm. and power gains are noticeable! I got my combination for something around $380.
Works great!

If you do get the IM, you really should get a tune, don't just buy a "custom chip". Also, if you use your stock TB on the IM the clutch cable bracket will also hit the hood, that's why i had gotton the skunk2 IM and and Edelbrock type r style TB and an OEM type r throttle calbe and bracket. Im actually selling the IM/TB and cable/bracket combo cause i decided to go back to stock and sell my gsr.
