I don't have problems with the car when it's cold exept for the idle beind at around 2000rpm but goes back to normal after it warms up, but when I drive it for a while, like whan I get out of work, the engine shuts down when I brake and stop, the rpm drops and the car dies, it starts again but it takes a little longer when I turn the key, like the starter works a little harder to get up back up. I replaced the IACV not more than a year ago, so I don't think that's the problem, but this happens just occationally, but once it starts doing it, the engine will shut down everytime a make a stop. the idle rpm is weak at around 500rpm and then drops. Anyone has any idea why this is happening.

 

i had the same problem. its your Fast idle valve on the bottom of your throttle body. take it back off and screw it in some. mgags7 did a nice write up
