Hey, go to the Geek Squad because your spell check is broken.
Get underneath that sumbitch and look to see if one of your boots is torn open. You can tell really easily, because you'll probably have axle grease slung all the expletive over everything in there. If they're fine, jack the car up and shake the wheel side to side. Hear or feel the clunking? Something with your steering. If nothing, shake the wheel up and down. Loose? Wheel bearing. If all that checks out, pull your wheel off and check your suspension for loose bolts and look in around your brake rotor. Maybe you have a little chunk of gravel or something in there.

You make fun of him for spelling, yet you have no paragraphs.
Check your CV joint first. Easiest way to check is to look and see if the boot is ripped.
Check your tie rods by shaking the wheel left to right.
Check the ball joint by getting a breaker bar under the tire and lift up.

Probably not. The axle itself does not normally break. The joints are what goes bad. They normally last about 500 miles or so after they start to click.

AWD Terror is right, it isn't you axle you may be hearing, its the CV, check to see if the boot is torn on the driver said (since you said when you turn right). A bad CV should be a clicking, not a knocking. A knocking is more likely to be a wheel bearing. With the car on jack stands, wiggle the tire by holding at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions on the tire. If it feels loose, most likely a wheel bearing.

Ok. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, so...yea.
