It's not bad, the tailights are hideous, I wish it was a 4 sedan still instead of a hatch

DO NOT WANT

I was excited about the idea of subieroo going with a hatch version. But from what I have seen so far, it looks completely odd and boring. Its almost like the car has no proportion or something. It might look better with a lower stance, but its gonna take awhile for this one to grow on me.

that is exactly what I was thinking....

It looks like it has no "*****" anymore.....not that hard rally inspired look....

I was hoping it looked a little more like this...

ditto. THAT car is obviously much better looking and rally ready. you would think they would have used it as a guideline. but they appear to have taken the Honda approach and watered it down to just another boring car.

When I saw pictures of this a few months ago, I thought it was hideous too. But when I saw it in person today, it actually looked pretty cool. Subaru is not the one for keeping the same look for a long time so I suspect that this model won't have a long life cycle

It still looks like three different teams worked on the front end. And none of them spoke with the others

I was hoping it would look a little better also. My friend picked up the wrx wagon, non STI version. He stoked on it which is cool but the body styling is a little. They need to do something about the rear of the car. I was hoping the STI would a little more like this...

I think the rear would look 10000x better with just red lens. The front.....I think if you took out the grill with the stupid Subaru logo, it would look better, too.

But overall, I like this STi the best out of all of the previous years that the US got. Mainly because it's a hatch.

For some reason, I cannot see the pics above, but here are some pics from another Subaru forum.

I think it also looks much better in a darker color.
