How to depin mirror harness/plug
I need to depin this plug so I can take the housing from the mirror to get painted.
did a search and couldn't find anything for this.. I tried yanking on the wires with pliers but didn't want to risk anything
someone said safety pin.. but what do i do?

Man its har to explain, grab a safety pin or sewing needle or one of those eye glasses flat screwdrivers and mess with the inside of the plug , u push in and wiggle it and pull the wire from the back at the same time. i forgot.

that's exactly what i did on my side mirror.
add a little bit of patience though.
