I am putting a b16a(cable trans) into my ef. I need a DA timing mount(drivers side) right? What about the clutch cable?

Use the forums to your advantage. Use the big red search key at the top right of the webpage and use the FAQ to your advantage. There is a whole bunch of stuff on OBD0 B16 swaps in there.

There are a couple to start you off. I recovered those from the FAQ, it's not hard you jusut have to search.

 

i used my stock clutch cable. but u may need to modify it slightly, dont ask how cuz ive only heard of this ive never done it cuz mine works fine as is.

and u need the b16 timing mount. not a b18

 

bump, read the 2 links. not much help...I did see that i can use my oem clutch cable; i just have to mod it to get it to fit. Just am confused on what timing mount i need. I have the hasport mounts for it already just don't know if i need a stock si one, b16, or da b18.

 

where can i get a oem b16 cable?
