camshaft bolt problem!!!!!
i recently blew a head gasket and while i was putting it back in i was checking the torque specs for the cam holders and it said 86in-lbs which i have no idea how to get that since im using a torque wrench with ft-lbs... Stupid me i was not reading properly and torqued it to 86ft-lbs... i kinda knew something was wrong because it kept torquing and by the time i realized it i snapped a bolt. So my question is... is it fixable the head and wut is the convertion to ft-lbs?
86/12= 7.16ft/lbs
if there is anything left sticking out of the head you might be able to grab the broken bolt with a pair of vice grips. if not you have to drill it out and try to extract it.
