Ok I put a skunk 2 stage 2 cam in my car because it was free But I still have the same stupid issue with my ecu only letting me rev to 6800rpms.

I thought pm6 ecus rev limit was at 7200 my last ecu I had was. I know that they can a cold rev limiter and a warm limiter. Mine seems to be staying stuck on the cold limter.

I have a d16z6 with a pm6 ecu and vtec controller to activate vtec my car is in time and I have no vacume leaks.

Some PM6 rev to 7200, some rev to 6800. IIRC my PM6 from the 91 revved to 7200 on my SOHC ZC.

PS: You should look into a OBD1 conversion and a P28 chipped ECU for tuning. Cams require tuning. Also, VTEC controller is garbage.

 

I have tryed doing that I am waiting on my buddy to try his pm6 to see if it is the ecu itsself.

I just wanted other opions to try other than what I have already tryed

 

iv reved my sohc zc to about 7000 maybe more.. by accident lol. no rev limiter. 89 pm6 i think.
