so i really want a b20 integra DA.... i want to buy the car with the swap already in..but everywhere i have searched so far, i have seen b20 swaps with 3rd and or 4th gear grining...

why is that?

did they do the swap wrong? is swaping motors into the stock b18 tranny a bad idea?
what tranny would be best for a b20? do people shift at high revs too often when they shouldnt on stock tranny? could a higher stage clutch have prevented
the grinding?

i want to buy an integra w/ b20 swap...grinds 3rd and 4th gears after 4k rpm...

eventually i will need a new tranny....

should i rebuild the stock tranny? get a new one?

NOT BUY the car?

It's because people who have B20 swaps beat the **** out of the engine/tranny...there is absolutely no reason why an ls tranny couldn't take the extra torque of a B20. People are just hard on stuff thats all!!! Good luck with the deal!!!

And yes thats just the synchros...
