Default fuel, spark, and still no start?... HELP!

I have a problem with a 90 LX sedan. At first I had no spark but I had fuel, now I have spark and fuel but still the car does not turn on. This thing is pissing me off, it cranks over and sounds like it wants to start but doesn't.
A lil background on the car, we just swapped a B16 in and made it 5spd and MPFI. If the wires that run off the resistor box are a lil too long will that cause a problem? please let me know if you guys have any ideas thanks.
Oh also getting cel 9 but the car should still start with that cel from what 3 know.

TIA

Plug wires are on right and yeah code 9 is a cylinder sensor... it should still start with a code 9 though.

put the motor at TDC on #1 compression stroke. then make sure the rotor on the dizzy is pointing on the #1 plug
