It is sad that this is the absolute truth. I am seriously considering the purchase of a 2008 Ninja 250r when it becomes available this spring for commuting. The gas mileage should be great compared to my 600rr, and the styling is nice enough that I would ride one. I love the look of the Yamaha in the article, but I do need a bike that is freeway legal (i.e. 250cc or larger in CA) for my daily commute. Other than the legailty of riding one on the freeway, and the fear of not being able to flow with traffic I would rock one of those Yamahas in addition to my CBR.

my lawnmower makes more hp... id probly still ride one though if i lived in congested eruo streets.

but like the other guy said, i need highway speeds... i would go with a 250 ninja if i found the right one for the right price, but 125 is just too vespaish
