i was coming back to work from lunch today when i stopped to back in to a parking spot i heard a loud pop and everyone was staring at my car. after i backed into the spot i got out to investigate and this is what i found...

the scary part is that i have almost 400 hp and it could have broken at 120+

Did not break, but mine was bent from an accident before the car was mine. Made it impossible to align the car....Found some on ebay for cheap though....

If you look closely and analyze what is there, you can see it has been cracked for quite some time. Replace both rods with new units in the least. A proper traction bar is your best bet.

I have a traction bar on my car, the single bolt ripped out of the LCA at about 60 sent me swerving all over the road...lucky no one was coming and somehow I kept it on the road and I was just leaving my house so I was able to baby it back home...very scary you were lucky man...

it doesn't look stock, maybe an innovative replacement or something? they use the stock radius arms (or whatever the official name is) don't they?

Traction bars actually remove that bushing and have a clevis joint with adjustability as a radius rod, this was either the OEM cross member or a replacement one.

my driverside radius rod snapped while i was at LACR. i was actually running when it snapped. it was right before the end. i was doing about 85 and the damn car swerved soooooooo hard to the left i almost hit the wall. i was in the right lane. thank god i beat the car next to me or i would have smashed right into it.mine broke right in the middle.
