Default Can I use an H23 distributer on a H22?

I will be swapping my h23 from my 92 Prelude Si with a jdm h22a. Can I use the h23 distributer and external coil in place of the h22 distributer with internal coil? This would allow me to use the h23 engine harness and a Rywire harness for the balance. Thanks in advance.

I have searched - some say yes and some have done the wiring conversion to use the h22a distributer. I would like more input please.

Yes keep the H23 dizzy and harness. Thish way all you have to wire up is the vtec sol and pressure switch. Add a p13 and your good to go

So the dist lined up properly and looks stock??? I realize I will have to find a place for the coil but I want to make sure the dist is legit in case I ever sell the car.

Yes it will line up. You can use all 3 bolts and not cut off the ears like a crapy b series old school swap lol
