Radio Code
HI,
I just bought a used 03 V6 EX Coup. I wanted to clean up the battery terminals but I don't want to disconnect the battery because I didn't get the radio security code from the original owner. Any ideas on ways to get around this or will I have to suck it up and take it to a dealer?
Thanks

Take a look in your owner's manual, it's possible that it's hand-written in there.
Otherwise, you'll need to pull the radio and get the serial number off of it, then go to the dealer with your car's registration. They will look up the code for you at no cost to you - if you have the radio's serial number.
Now, if you just take the car to the dealer and say "what's the code?", you will be charged for labor for removing / reinstalling the radio so that they can get the number, probably 30 minutes or an hour? Just pull the radio yourself to get the serial number. And of course, when you do get the code, hand-write it into your owner's manual or somewhere else.

Take a look at these instructions:

These are the instructions for installing Honda's XM radio but will work for just taking out the old radio & putting it back in.
