hey guys just wanted to let u know my car was stolen saturday night. i woke up to a pile of glass sunday morning. i did however find the car around the corner they could not start the car and the good ole auto lock did its job they cut the sirens on my alarm not sure why it didnt page me however...they got away with my carbon fiber hood,mirrors,gas door. my jdm cluster, my chipped p28, audio system, and gas cap! who takes a gas cap??? all in all not the worst it could have been alot worse. ill post a few pics once i get them off my phone. anyone in my area if you hear of any parts for sale please let me kno.


oh yea and they got my hids.




i replaced the gas cap so i could drive it home.


i put a factory cluster in already

yea its startin to get crazy again it did quite down for a while but i guess people are broke again and need to eat of other peoples plates...lynn is a small city and i will find out who took my shyt...thanks for keepin an eye out i appreciate it...

Are you talking with your mouth full? I can't make any sense of what you're trying to say.

There are many ways to get around an alarm installed under the dash with no backup battery and with the siren wide open. Check out the site in my sig to see how you can install the alarm more effectively.

Man Glad to finally read about a Civic recovered!!! I hate getting on different forums and reading about stolen civics...**** stolen cars period.....put it back together and keep ride man...

 

glad to hear u got your car back. someone tried to get mine last sunday but my alarm went off and it paged me so i got outside just in time

 

thanks i think im going to go buy the backup battery and the mercury switches for the hood they never got the trunk open only way to open it is with a key so the trunk is safe. and im going to invest in the boot for the rear tire so they wont even be able to push it

OP... are they going to salvage the title due to theft now?

Glad that you got your car back, it seems it could have been much worse.

 

no the title is going to remain clean since the car is not totaled. the only thing that will change is on the title its going to have an odometer discrepancy i think thats what its called.

 

Thats awesome. I hate seeing cars get a salvage title due to theft, it usually turns people away from buying it or being able to get what its really worth.

 

At least you have your car.

 

yea it would have sucked to get salvage title i was very pleased to find the car myslef on the way to the police station. and to see the valve cover from down the street made me even more happy. it definatley could have been worse thanks for all the kind words everyone...ill be back stronger then ever
