whenever i drive around my temp is usually good. but when im at a light or even rarely when i drive my temp just starts shooting to very hot. idk why it does this and i left my car on with the radiator cap on for like 5 min but it still does it could this be ebacuse of a small leak?.

 

Coolant level?
Is the radiator fan turning on when the temperature increase occurs?
Does the radiator fan ever turn on?

 

yea it turns on i left the car sitting there for like 20 minutes and it was fine its only whern i drive that it gets a build up somehwere
