Default Transmission Problem, First startup

when the car is off the trans goes through the gears no problem, then once i start it, its next to impossible to get into gear. my pedal has a little play in it but nothing more than it was before the swap. what could be causing such a problem? master cylinder? slave? if it matters the motor is built and im running an action stage 5 i think clutch with the same action pressure plate? im really hoping this is a minor problem that could be fixed but ready for the worst.
thanks!

Do you have fluid in the Clutch System?

Is the Clutch System working? Do the Slave move when the pedal is pushed?

I know there is fluid in there, I refilled it after bleeding it. I'm thinking its the clutch system too. I did'nt think to check if the slave moves when the pedal is pushed in, im going to have to check that out in the morning.

I was thinking it was something along the lines of the clutch not engaging all the way when the pedal was pressed, just needed a someone to tell me.

So if the slave doesnt move when the pedal is pressed in then I need a new slave cylinder correct?
It wouldn't be the master because there is no dripping inside the cabin right?

Thank God!- I'm happy for you....

The second i saw your thread it gave me a flashback, and then i saw you have an Action stage 5 clutch and it made my flashback even worse, but now that you have it fixed, i'm relieved for you....

here's what i mean by flashback......
