Buying B18C1 -- No title or paper work -- What are my options. VIN/Stolen?
I'm going to be buying this B18c1 from someoen on HT, but.... he cant get the title quickly and has no paper work with it. How or what are my options, to make it safe that i didn't buy "stolen" item. I don't know if it's stolen or not, but just to be on the safe side.

Get the VIN and go to your police station and ask if it's stolen. I'm sure they could direct you from there if they can't help

do a car fax that should help but when i got my tranny the police station ran the vin for me and said it was OK
