well In a '89 Hatch I had to make adapter brackets to fit the seat to the stock rails. The '89 and the 92-95 dont have mounts in the same place, the outer rail is about 2-3 inches from where it needs to be. The rear can be made to fit much easier. I have th full set from a '93 in my '89 hatch. Was told you can use the older base with the new backs and use the new cover on the old base. I didn't do that since my base was a mess. Foam was disintegrating. and the foam wouldn't swap since pan shape was different. If you are into some fabrication, it isn't real hard some angle iron some 1X1 or 1X2 box stock (use it on one side so seat sits level)something to cut and grind with and it can be done in an afternoon. I used the '89 barckets and modified the '93 seats so I could bolt the adapter I built to fasten one to the other. and fit stock floorpan. I assume the '90 seats aren't substantialy different than '89 seats. except for seat belt mounts. The '92-95 seats have both mounts on the outer sides of the seat, the '89 had the indide mount at the seat edge but the outside mount is about 4 inches in from the seat edge. so you see why custom adapter is needed. Dont drill through the pan to bolt the new seat up, you don't want to go through the windshield with your new seat strapped to your *** when you hit something do you.
