Default lenso rims

Well i am building a road race car and i know lots of draga racers use lenso drag rims and i noticed on exospeed that they said that the rims could be used for auto x and road racing now i kow they wont fit under the fenders ...thats going to be taken care of but i am just wondering if anyone has done this and if the rims themselves are structurally safe for high g loads

they arent an uncommon wheel for autocross, particularly the CSP guys use them often enough.

for wheel-to-wheel road racing I dont know how well they'd stand up to gators and curbs and bumps from other cars, in addition to the "no part of the tire may be visible when viewed from above" rule in some classes that the wide offwet might interfere with.

They may be a viable option but only if certain issues are proven nil.

we've been selling the VPD 13x7.5 for almost 8 years to alot of AutoX and Road Racers. From Civics, to BMW2002s, to Miatas. They hold up fine for those applications. As far as sticking out, yes they do. and if that is an issue with the rules of the class you are racing in, look into fender flares or similar. They do stick out about 1-1.5" on most Hondas.
