Default How to tell what year a B16A is

Im looking at a JDM B16A and he said its from a 94 Integra. How can I be sure its a 94? I need to make sure its OBD 1.

Ok so if its from an integra then its a 89-93? Ive seen the engine and it is just stamped B16A.

Would this still work in a 94 LX or no?

I figured the trans would be different. He wants $500 for the engine, trans, harness, axles and PCM.

there are many simple ways to tell what year the motor is. lets go with one of the simplest.

what color are the connectors on the motor. if they are a milky color, then it is a obd0 motor. if they are grey, obd1.

On your head there should be a set of what I call "clocks" on the exhaust side. One will read something like this "(8|9)" meaning your engine was produced in 1989. The "( )" represents the circle and the "|" represents the divider between the two numbers. There are two or three "clocks" like that and I forget what they all mean.
