2000 accord transmission problems
Hi,
I have 2000 accord 4cyl sedan that has 145k miles. I was having transmission problems and changed my transmission a month ago with 4 quarts of honda atf. It is running a lot better than prior to the oil change. However, I am feeling an occassional jerk between 1st and 2nd gear. I live in los angeles/orange county area and was wondering if anyone here knew of an honest honda transmission business that could rebuild my tranny before it gets a lot worse at a reasonable price since I'm a student. I would appreciate the help in getting my tranny repaired. Thanks a bunch

trans is toast, get a reman from HONDA since it has been updated to correct the oil starvation problems (relocate internal filter to external inline one)
Do you happen to know how much it might cost for me to get a remanufactured trans from honda? In the meantime...do I keep driving until the trans is toast??
i have 2000 se and it would rev way past shift point then catch. i had it replaced by honda the first time, they said that model year tranny auto sucked make long story short. the second time i had it rebuilt by a friend and had no problem since cost me 1800 big ones. good luck i know it sucks
