Default just installed new radiator, have questions......

alright, well i just got done installing a Fluidyne Dual Core All Alumminium radiator into my 00 integra gsr.

i was reading a couple of step by step posts, and it said:

"you put the rad cap on to the FIRST stop and open this bleeder. Run it until no bubbles appear. Stop car, top of rad, start car again, run until fans come on, stop car, and top of radiator one last time."

now, my problem is, i didnt put my drivers side or AC fan back on because it wouldnt fit and i have to order a slim fan.

but my normal fan will not turn on, i let the car idle to normal temp., still didnt turn on, drove it around, still no fan, turned on the heat, still no fan.

also, my maintence light flashes for a bit when i turn my car on.....

please help? is this a big problem? anything helps!

thanks

Turning the heat on would actually be cooling your engine off, so it's not going to kick on the fan.

so do you have any fans in there?
try to hook up the fans that didn't fit. just let them sit there, but plugged in,
let you car warm up and see if any of them turn on
also check your fuses and all connections again

ok, i will, one fan is hooked up, the A/C fan is not. but that shouldnt make the other one not work.

can someone give me pictures of where the thermostat, water temp. sensor, and fan switch are?

thanks

im sorry. if you heat up the old frying pan, really effing hot, then expect it to cool off really effing fast by waving it in the air like an idiot, or you can run water over it and have a much more effective result.

point is, the fans get hot air out of the engine area, not cool the engine. and now since you have a race radiator, join the club so you dont have to drive slower than 30 mph.
