LOL. It's soo expensive they actually offer financing!

Still not too shabby considering all the parts being replaced.

Anyone that has to finance their modifications deserves to live out of their car. This is when credit goes too far, funneling money into a depreciating asset.

+1

Except anything that's taking money away is a liability not an asset.

After I saw the JDM front and rear I absolutely hated the USDM one. I realized how once again the US got fucked out of the cool civic and got the **** one. However the US front end is tolerable.

I was so close to getting the Civic Si 4dr, but that stupid little window in front of the mirror, the gay dash, and rear tails pissed me off to the point of not getting one cause I knew that I would be irate about it for ever.

I guess in all rationality I could go back and get it, then get this kit, and fill in that window.

The Civic Dominator concept was ******* spot-on because they punched out that retarded little window and filled it in with those Mugen Mirrors. They also put a normal, non StarTrek dash in it. Looked very sharp.

Now I'll probably just get a used TSX and say F the Civic (even though it probably drives like a charm).

These are the pics of the Dominator, pretty old news but sic non the less.

It was sarcasm. The only thing i'll funnel money into is my schooling. Something that will actually pay off in the near future.

What about the 97% of people who finance their cars?

You're obviously not getting the point or just being argumentative.

What I was saying:

Any debt on an object of depreciating value is bad, especially if it is a long term or high interest loan, with little down payment. However, most people are able to live with a car loan or even a mortgage in general comfort.

But buying parts for a car that you're already making payments on and is ALREADY depreciating is even more stupid.

You already can't afford to pay for the car in full, yet you'll go out and finance parts for it as well before paying off the car itself? That's just stupid. If someone can't afford to buy those parts outright in disposable income without impacting their finances, then they shouldn't be doing it. It's bad financial planning.

Forever as in 41 months? Car owners keep their vehicles an average of 41 months.

Why do they leave out the wing and the taillights? That's stupid.

And yeah I'm keeping mine forever!

That's just an average. Some people trade their cars in the next day.....some keep them for 20 years. I plan to keep mine until it's on it's last leg. When you reach the point where you start spending more money to keep a car running than you would on a decent down payment to buy a new one......then it's time for a change.

I was heated yesterday, took it out on the Si.

I'll reserve judgment until I test drive it next week. I think it would probably be cheaper to order the CSX parts from Canada.

Is the Si faster than the TSX? It's lighter right?

yea I was just sayin. It is stupid to finance a part for a car. Save up and just pay it in full.

Completely agree with you.
