Default ***best 6.5 speakers***

ok so everyone knows how bad the stock speakers are. lookin for a decent set of 6.5s for <150. just want nice crisp clear noise.. not trying to hit 150dp here..

what does everyone else run? im lookin at the infinity kapps or the blaupunkt GTc652. im kinda partial to blaupunkt due to having them in other cars and they were great.

Currently use Alpine Type R's, I like them. I've also used MB Quarts, Infinity Kappas and Diamond Audio too, all were great speakers/components.

YOU gotta listen to some various brands for the types of music you like...i know it's kind of a dick answer, but it's the truth....

i have alpine type R and type S in my S2k powered by jl amps and an eclipse face....sounds COMPLETLYYY different than my mb quarts/infinity's powered by hi fonics amps with an alpine face in my civic......
