Help! engine shuts of when no gas is given =(
To make a long story short I did a jdm d15 swap done on my EJ about 4 months ago and for the past 2 months and its been getting worse as time goes by that whenever there isnt any gas petal isnt being pressed the engine shuts down...it doesnt happen all the time but more like 60% of the time. Can someone give me an idea of what it could be because Im sort of tired of constantly have to balance my clutch at stops and doing the 3 petal hold in traffic
Replaced the fuel filter and still same deal...in detail I have to keep my foot on the gas in order to keep the motor from stalling..It doesnt do it all the time just like 70% of the time....it sucks..Lemme know if any of you can think of that it is...my next step is changing out the spark plugs and cables...after I did the fuel filter swap I noticed that it jump as far as possible timing issues...lemme know all what you think? =D

i had a bad IAC (idle air control)
take it off the manifold and clean it with some carb cleaner.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah try that..if you dont feel like taking out the IAC just spray the inside of your throttle body with carb cleaner, let it dry, start it up and adjust the idle
