Where have you heard of a 210 width tire? Are you confusing it with 215?

Both a 205/40-16 and a 215/40-16 will work properly with your car, though the wider 215 tire will obviously increase the chances of rubbing, especially on a lowered vehicle.

no such tire width as 210, either 205 or 215
