Default new crx

I just bought an 89 crx and have a few questions. I love the car its the first honda i have owned and i don't know much at all about it. I was wondering how can i tell which engine I have and what are some good parts to put onto it. I might do an engine swap down the road but I want something to do now until i can save up my funds. One last question, I am missing the trim piece that goes on the driver side window, does anyone know where to get a replacement? Everytime it rains i end up getting wet because of it.

You can get the garnish from the dealer. Its about 30 bux. Comes with all the clips and everything you will need.

Could be a number of things but could be leaking valve cover gasket, you sure it is oil and not gas? Is it on all of them? It would be oil then.

There was alot of oil on 1,2 and, 4. There was just a little bit on spark plug 3. And where is the engine stamped for the model?

Passenger side front of motor right where the transmission connect to the motor. Find the distributor and go straight down from there until you see something like looks like what was posted above. YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT.

Here, this might help a little. The dotted circle is to show that the stamp is behind the hose/radiator part.
