Default Turning the buzzer OFF

Hey all I need to know how I can shut the buzzer up in my '91 hatch that beeps for instance for a few seconds when you first start the car, or when you take your seatbelt off while the car is on. Mine has messed up and will NOT stop beeping lol and its driving me crazier than I already am. I've looked at both fuse locations that I know of (under steering column and under-hood) and have found nothing in either place about the buzzer. Anybody know how to shut it up?

There's not an actual problem that i'm aware of that would be causing it to stay on, I have replaced the driver's side door a couple days ago with one from a salvageyard but I took the panel off and everything looked fine in there, nice & clean from what I could see. The little harness that plugs into the door fits snugly.

Rear view mirror.

Pop off the plastic cover on the underside and you'll see screws. Take them out and when taking the mirror down you should see the plug. Just unplug it and put the mirror back up.

I don't remember 100% how I did it, but it's up there.

also the ignition (where you stick your key) has a beeper on the under side of it. remove the plastic cover on the steering column, and look/ listen (while turning key) under the ignition. all you do is unplug it I believe.
Damn beeps

I just unplugged a little grey box behind my center console. Shut all the seatbelt crap off.

My gfs car had the same problem. You just need to unplug it from the rear view mirror mount.

OK SO I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND THE ANNOYING BUZZER IS UN-PLUGED FROM THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. NOW IN MY SITUATION THE DAM BUZZER AND LIGHT/SEAT BELT WAS GOING OFF WHEN EVER I WAS DRIVING AND APPLIED THE BRAKE. THE DASH LIGHT FOR THE DOOR/SEAT BELT IS STILL ON WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THAT. OR WHY DO YOU FELLAS THINK COULD BE TRIGERING THAT DASH LIGHT.

Had that same problem. What the others said you can remove the center console and locate the box that controls all that seatbelt **** and just unplug the harness and no more beeping. Lol i was ready to punch a hole throw my dash when that happend to me, its the most annoying beeping ever!!
