99 Accord Poor low end torque
Anyone have any suggestions on how to improve low end torque on 99 Honda Accord EX 3 liter VTEC? So far, a short cold air induction, and throttle body spacer helped. The car also has performance headers, catalytic converter, dual Cherry Bomb Turbo mufflers, performance module, and a trick kit in the automatic trans. Thanks for suggesting a Supercharger, but that is beyond my budget. I just ordered a Turbo.

lack of low end torque is a result of
1. small valves
2. missing middle vtec stage (accord uses 1 and 3rd stage from Vtec-e

no offense but youre not going to be able to run anything for boost with an auto, you have the weakest tranny in the accord, it can't even handle the power it has now. Also, ditch the throttlebody spacer, they don't do anything.

I sure hope that you have done some reading up about turbos. Or know of a good shop that will install everything for you. A tubo build isn't cheap either. The post you made previously on someone else's thread worries me about your knowledge of turbos. You posted that turbos are electric and that they could only be run for 30 minutes. I sure hope you didn't buy one of those $100 Ebay electric turbos = $50.00 marine bilge pump.
